Proportion before ornament
Mattress size is only the beginning. The height of the mattress, bed base and bedside tables needs to work together, while the headboard must sit correctly against the wall, windows and electrical points.
In larger rooms, an extended headboard or wall composition can bring the bed, side tables and lighting into one visual line. In compact rooms, restraint in depth and edge detail can preserve movement without making the bed feel slight.
Comfort includes the way the bed is used
Some clients read or work against the headboard; others prefer a low, quiet profile. Upholstery thickness, back angle, edge softness and the way the mattress sits within the frame are discussed accordingly.
Where storage is required, access and mechanism are considered alongside structure. The solution must remain practical after the mattress, bedding and daily use are accounted for.
A complete bedroom language
Beds can be developed with coordinated bedside tables, benches, lounge seating, dressers, wardrobes and wall panels. Timber, veneer, PU, metal, stone, fabric and leather are selected as a connected material palette rather than separate samples.
