A home, not a shipment
Working in another city should not mean choosing a few pieces from photographs and hoping they work once they arrive. We begin by understanding the rooms together: what is already planned, what still needs resolving, and where carefully planned furniture can improve comfort, function and proportion.
Plan the relationships between rooms
For a larger scope, materials and proportions should move naturally from the living room into the dining area, bedrooms and private spaces. We study drawings, references and site photographs so a bed, console, sofa or wardrobe can belong to one home without becoming a matching set.
Verify before making
Once the direction and scope are confirmed, a site visit can be planned in Mumbai. Measurements, access, wall conditions, lift sizes and installation requirements are checked before final production. That visit is less about ceremony and more about preventing compromises later.
Control the making in Kolkata
Furniture is developed through Minnoli's Kolkata workshop, where structure, upholstery, polish, hardware and finishing can be followed together. The advantage is continuity: the people discussing the home remain connected to the people responsible for making it.
Complete the work at site
Completed pieces are inspected, carefully covered and professionally packed inside protective wooden crates. Minnoli supervises loading at the workshop, coordinates unloading and carrying at the destination, and completes unpacking, placement and specialist installation at site.
